Can I get mooncakes delivered today?
Yes, as long as you order before 6pm. Delivery is free across Kuala Lumpur, PJ and Selangor, and you pick the date and time slot at checkout. This runs during the Mid-Autumn window only, because we don't make mooncakes the rest of the year.
How do I order mooncakes online in Malaysia?
Add the box to your cart, choose your delivery date and slot, and pay by card, Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay or FPX. No phone call needed. Sending it to someone else works the same way, you just put their address in at checkout.
What's in the gift box?
Six snowskin mooncakes, two each of three flavours. Salted egg yolk with a molten centre, pandan gula melaka, and matcha red bean with black sesame. Each one is 85g and about 5.5cm square, so it's two or three bites rather than the heavy traditional size.
What is a snowskin mooncake?
It isn't baked. The skin is a soft glutinous rice dough that stays chilled, closer to mochi than to the golden baked mooncake most people picture. Lighter, less sweet, and it's the only way to get a molten centre, because a lava filling just sets in an oven.
Are the mooncakes halal?
Every ingredient in them is halal certified. This box doesn't carry our halal mark the way the rest of our range does, so if that matters for who you're gifting to, worth knowing before you order.
Are they very sweet?
Less than most, on purpose. The salted egg yolk is savoury against the lotus paste, the gula melaka has salt in it so it doesn't turn syrupy, and the matcha stays properly bitter. If mooncakes usually taste like sugar to you, start with the matcha.
When is Mid-Autumn Festival 2026?
Friday 25 September 2026. Most families do it on the night itself and offices tend to mark it the working day before, so if you need a particular evening, order earlier in the week. Slots for the festival night go first.
Do you deliver mooncakes to offices?
All the time in September. The box presents on its own without extra wrapping, three flavours covers a floor with different tastes, and it travels chilled. For several addresses on one invoice, message us and we'll arrange it.
Which areas do you deliver to?
Free same-day delivery across Kuala Lumpur, PJ and Selangor, including Bangsar, Mont Kiara, Damansara, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Cheras, Ampang, Puchong and the rest of the Klang Valley. Further out we work the fee out by distance at checkout.
How should I keep them?
Fridge or freezer, out of direct sun and away from anywhere humid. Snowskin isn't built to sit on a counter in this weather. Take them out about ten minutes before serving so the centres soften.
Can I send it as a surprise?
Yes. Put their address in at checkout and add a message card on the product page. No prices or invoices go in the box, so it turns up as a gift rather than a delivery.
What if they don't actually like mooncakes?
Half of what's on this page is here for exactly that. Macaron boxes and towers stretch to a crowd, the cake bites boxes get handed round without plates or forks, and the tart quartet works for a smaller table. If they like the pandan and gula melaka pairing in the mooncakes, the cake version carries the same thing all year round.
