What does a pandan coffee tart actually taste like?

Like kopi and kaya, rearranged. The pandan curd is herbal and grassy-sweet, the coffee mascarpone is milky and slightly bitter, and the coffee jelly gives you a clean hit of coffee between the creamy layers. Balanced rather than sugary — the coffee keeps the sweetness in check.

How big is it, and how many people does it feed?

A 7-inch tart, 800g — comfortably 4 to 6 slices. Good for a small family dinner or a team of four to six at the office. Feeding a bigger crowd? A Tart Quartet gives you four different flavours, or the cake bites boxes scale to 8–15 people.

Is it halal?

Yes. Elevete is 100% halal certified, including the gelatine (bovine, INS 428). Safe to send to a mixed office or a mixed family without anyone having to ask.

Is it very sweet?

No — this is one of our least sweet tarts. The coffee is doing deliberate work against the pandan curd and mascarpone. It’s the one to send to someone who insists they “don’t really like desserts.”
