Sunday 8 November 2026. Open houses run through that weekend, so pick your delivery date at checkout a few days ahead to get the time slot you want.
What is new for Deepavali this year?
Two things made for the season. The Mithai Burfi Gift Box holds 25 burfi in milk, pistachio and chocolate. The Pattasu Palkova Cake Bites hold 64 bites: palkova icing on buttercake, and Ultimate Chocolate.
What is burfi?
Burfi is one of the mithai, the milk sweets shared at Deepavali. Ours is made with full cream milk and ghee, so it eats like a firm milk fudge, dense and smooth, and milk is the first thing you taste.
What is palkova?
Palkova is a milk sweet from Tamil Nadu, made by simmering milk until it thickens and turns lightly caramelised. Our palkova icing is our take on that flavour, piped in orange and red rosettes over buttercake.
What should I order for an open house?
Something that is already cut. The burfi box is 25 pieces, enough for about 12 people at two each. The palkova cake bites are 64 bites, enough for about 30. Our other cake bites come as 36 squares, and a macaron tower holds 25. Put two side by side and the table is covered.
Do you have eggless options?
Yes. The Mithai Burfi Gift Box and the Dubai Pistachio Kunafa Cake are both made without eggs, and their pages carry an eggless label. Our kitchen also works with egg, so message us on WhatsApp if you need more detail.
Is everything in this collection halal?
Everything here is either halal certified or made with halal certified ingredients, and each product page says which. We make every item in our own kitchen.
What goes well with them?
Masala chai with the burfi, since its spice cuts through the richness of the milk and ghee. South Indian filter coffee with the palkova bites, and black coffee with anything chocolate.
Can I send a Deepavali gift to someone?
Yes. Choose their delivery date and time slot at checkout and add a message card, and we deliver to their door. The burfi comes in a clear gift box, ready to hand over.
Do you deliver on the same day?
Yes, in the time slots still open at checkout. Delivery is free and same-day across Kuala Lumpur, PJ and Selangor when you order before 6pm.
How should I keep them?
In the fridge. Serve them chilled or at air-conditioned room temperature, so the burfi stays firm and the piping holds its shape. The burfi keeps for a week, or a month in the freezer, and the palkova cake bites for five days. Each product page has its own storage notes.
