When is Qixi 2026?
Wednesday, 19 August 2026. Qixi (七夕), sometimes called the Qiqiao Festival or Chinese Valentine's Day, falls on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, so the date moves every year. Order by 6pm on the 19th for free same-day delivery across KL and the Klang Valley.
Do I need to be Chinese to celebrate Qixi?
No. The legend is about a weaver girl and a cowherd separated by the Milky Way, allowed to meet one night a year on a bridge of magpies — a story about reunion across distance, which every Malaysian family understands. Plenty of Qixi orders go to mothers, best friends and colleagues rather than partners. Send it to whoever you'd cross a river for.
What should I send someone who isn't a partner?
For family, the Ondeh Ondeh Tart — pandan, coconut curd and gula melaka, the kuih they grew up on in a nicer outfit. For a friend, a burnt cheesecake: rich, unfussy, and the kind of thing people love but never buy for themselves. For colleagues, macarons or the Tart Quartet, so nobody has to share. For the one you're soft about, the Strawberry Shiok Tart.
What's good for just two people?
Our 5-inch mini cakes start at RM90 and serve two to four — a proper occasion without a fridge full of leftovers on Thursday. The Tart Quartet at RM68 works the same way, with four different flavours instead of one.
How much do Qixi gifts cost?
From RM68 for the Tart Quartet (4 flavours), RM90 for a 5-inch mini cake, RM118 for a 7-inch tart serving 4 to 6, and RM135 for a burnt cheesecake. Macaron boxes start at RM75.
Are the desserts halal certified?
Yes. Elevete is 100% halal certified, so a Qixi gift works for a mixed office, a mixed family, or a friend who has to ask before she eats anything. Everything is handmade to order.
Can you deliver to an office?
Yes, and on a Wednesday it's the better call — a cake that arrives at someone's desk lands harder than one waiting at home. We deliver to offices across KLCC, TRX, Bangsar South, Mid Valley, Damansara Heights, Mont Kiara and Cyberjaya. Add the recipient's floor and phone number at checkout and we'll call on arrival rather than leave a cake at reception.
Can I get Qixi gifts delivered same-day?
Yes. Everything on this page is available for free same-day delivery — no pre-order, no three-day lead time. Order before 6pm for KL, PJ and the Klang Valley, or before 3pm for Johor Bahru.
Which areas do you deliver to?
Free same-day delivery across Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Cheras, Ampang, Puchong, Kajang, Bangi, Setia Alam, Kota Damansara, Mont Kiara and Cyberjaya, plus Johor Bahru on a 3pm cutoff.
Can I send it anonymously, or with a message?
Yes to both. There's a message-card field at checkout, and you can leave the sender name off entirely if the surprise is the point. We never include a receipt or pricing in the box.
Is it too late to order for Qixi?
Not if it's still the 19th and it's before 6pm. The bridge only appears once a year; the cake takes two hours. The popular flavours do go first, though.
