Each piece starts with a roasted almond for a clean, nutty crunch, then gets coated in good quality chocolate smooth, rich, and not overly sweet. The final layer is where it really shines: instead of regular butter cookie crumbs, we use butter-rich shortbread for the coating. The result is a bite that’s more crumbly, more fragrant, and more melt-in-the-mouth, with a deeper buttery finish.
Taste-wise, it’s nicely balanced chocolatey upfront, nutty in the middle, and a shortbread aftertaste that makes you go back for “one more”.
