This Deepavali, we wanted to create something truly special — a dessert that celebrates the richness of the season and brings people together through flavour and nostalgia.

We started by asking our team: “What would be an interesting dessert to explore for Deepavali?” Among the many ideas, one name kept coming up — Barfi.
Some of us had never tried Barfi before, so we decided to go on a little flavour adventure. From the sweet stalls along Brickfields to the offerings at local Indian temples, we tasted our way through different versions of this traditional treat. What we discovered was fascinating — Barfi is wonderfully fudgy, aromatic, and rich in flavour.

We learned that its key ingredients are ghee and milk powder — simple, yet luxurious when made right. Unfortunately, many modern versions cut corners with substitutes, but at Elevete, we believe in doing things properly. So, we went back to basics: pure ghee, premium milk powder, and a recipe made with care.

From there, we created not just one, but three flavours for this festive season —
🥛 Classic Milk Barfi – timeless and creamy, a tribute to tradition.
🌰 Pistachio Barfi – made with our homemade stone-ground pistachio paste.
🍫 Chocolate Barfi – rich and indulgent, crafted with real couverture chocolate.
Each bite is a little piece of celebration — classic, full of flavour, and made to linger in both your mouth and memory.
Of course, I’m not a chef trained in Indian cuisine, so we knew we had to validate our creation. It was heartwarming to hear from friends, family, and customers that our Barfi stood up to the standards — or even better! 😄

We’re proud to call this a new signature for Deepavali, a sweet symbol of respect, exploration, and celebration.
