Chocolate Banana Tart

1. Inside every slice: A crisp dark chocolate shell wrapped around sourdough banana sponge, Biscoff caramel, chocolate ganache, and a coffee banana mousse. The banana and coffee play off each other more than you'd expect — neither one tries to take over, they just sit well together.

3. Ingredients: Flour, caster sugar, unsalted butter (cow), icing sugar, whipping cream (cow), Biscoff crumble, dark chocolate, whole egg (chicken), almond, cocoa powder, banana, sunflower oil, milk (cow), brown sugar, coffee powder, cinnamon, gelling agent.

4. Contains: Egg, dairy, nuts. Certified halal, checked before it ever leaves our kitchen.

5. Best enjoyed: Cold, straight from the fridge — the mousse firms up and every layer holds its shape better that way.

1. Storage: This one needs to stay in the fridge — the cream and mousse won't hold up well outside it. Try to finish it within two days of getting it; that's when it's at its best.

2. Packaging: Comes in a clear cylinder box, about the size of a large hatbox (22.5cm wide, 11cm tall) — easy to carry, and it already looks like something worth giving.

3. Delivery: We bake these to order, so nothing's been sitting around. If you're in KL or Selangor, order before 6PM and it'll reach you the same day. Johor Bahru orders go out the next day.

Order before 6PM and we'll have it at your door that same day, if you're around KL or Selangor. For Johor Bahru, it'll arrive the next day.

2. How many people does this tart serve?
It's a 5-inch tart that comfortably feeds 8 to 10 — good for a family gathering, or fewer if everyone's planning on seconds.

3. Is it very sweet?
It leans more rich than sweet. The coffee and dark chocolate hold the banana and caramel back from going overboard.

4. Is it halal certified?
Yes — we bake it fresh ourselves, in our own kitchen in KL.

5. Can I personalise it for Father's Day?

6. How should I store it, and how long will it keep?
Keep it in the fridge the whole time, and aim to finish it within two days — the layers hold their shape best while they're freshly chilled.
