What is a tuxedo cake?

A tuxedo cake is a chocolate cake built on contrast — dark chocolate layers against white cream, like a black tie against a crisp shirt. Ours pairs moist chocolate sponge with Callebaut dark chocolate cream and Philadelphia cream cheese mousse, on a crunchy Oreo cookie base.

RM130 for the 7-inch (about 1kg, 3 inches tall) — comfortable for 6–10 people. It comes in one size; for a smaller chocolate fix there's the Ultimate Chocolate Mini Cake (5-inch), and for bigger groups the Ultimate Chocolate Cake goes up to 9-inch.

What's the base made of?

Crushed Oreo crumbs pressed into a crunchy chocolate cookie base — the texture surprise under all that mousse, and most people's favourite forkful.
